Cambridge United got their St James Football Association Guardian Group Division Two season off to a big start on Wednesday, blanking Barnett Oval FC 4-0 in their Group One game at the UDC Field.

Samuel Russell scored twice in the second half for Cambridge, who took over the lead in the group after the other two games both ended in 1-1 draws.
Also on Wednesday, King Gate FC came from 0-2 down to earn a 2-2 draw with Anchovy High in a Zone Two game at Anchovy High.
At the UDC field, Cambridge United led 1-0 at half-time through a 27th-minute goal from Damion James, before Russell made it 3-0 with his double in the 46th and 70th minutes.
Obrien Bent then added the fourth in the 75th minute.
At Anchovy, the home team went ahead twice, but each time King Gate FC responded to share the points.
Resean Grey gave Anchovy High the lead in the fifth minute, but Jahnoi Achukwu equalised in the 24th minute.
Shaquille West scored in the 19th minute to restore Anchovy High's lead, but Cavaughn Schloss scored for King Gate in the 72nd minute.
Two days after drawing 0-0 against Club Ville FC, Belmont FC will make a second attempt at getting their first this afternoon when they face Young Strikers in a Zone Two game at the UDC field, set to start at 3:00 pm.
Both teams will be seeking their first win after Young Strikers were beaten 2-0 by Ibero Star FC in their opening game earlier in the week.
